Helpful Web Browser Tip of the Day

Did you know you can override the size of type on web pages based on your own preference?

On a Mac, press Command and the plus sign.
On a PC, try Control and the plus sign, or look under the view menu.

  1. you're so cute.

other accessibility standards can be viewed at w3.org.

(The text sizing is designed for people who need larger type, but is very effective for people whose CSS causes their fonts to display way too small.)

  2. This works now on LOCUSPOINT, but, oddly, didn't a couple of days ago.

Helpful Web Publisher Tip of the Day: Most people surfing the interwebs who come across a site where the font is very small will skip that site and move on to the next. This is just the way the interwebs work. We want the world and we want it now.
