I don't know if it works, but you might want to consider genius loci. You could also pluralize it to "genius locus."Here's the two sentences wikipedia has on the phrase:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genius_loci
I like Locuspoint, too, although Locus Pocus does have a ring to it. :)
Locus Pocus sounds like a Harry Potter spell to find your way. Boy, could I use that.
