Received word today that I was a finalist for the Ohio State Press/The Journal First Book Award, one of "roughly 30," and I received a kind letter from Andrew Hudgins to that effect.
Awesome! I was a reader for that prize years ago and i know how freaking competitive it is to even make the top *100*, let alone the top 30. See? OSU is more than just obnoxious football fans!;)
