I'm glad you told me about this (the new address, that is). I just wish I hadn't (1) gone back to the old one to see what had happened, and then (2) clicked on the links there because I'm so used to clicking on links I've stopped reading them first.
To be fair, I'll revise: Some straight men are privileged, are not raised to question this privilege, and live their lives without ever feeling the need to compromise or otherwise sacrifice their needs/wants. Naturally, all of this is complicated by race, economic class, immigration status, etc.
As a straight woman, can I say that yes, straight men have privilege and (often) do not recognize that, but yeah, they have to compromise too and maybe have to sacrifice their needs/want.
