I Literally Just Pooped My Pants

Dear Mr. Jensen:

Congratulations! Joel Brouwer has selected your chapbook, “Little Burning Edens,” to be the first annual Red Mountain Review Chapbook Award winner. It’s a great collection—the work resonates both as individual poems and as a collection. Feels more substantial than most chapbooks. We’re proud to have it.

  12. WOW! And what a great acceptance letter--gets to the heart of your earlier posts on chapbook ordering, the chapbook as a collection, not a poem dump for unrelated pieces, etc...so the judges didn't just love it, they got it. Congrats! Can't wait to buy my copy.

  26. the best advice for pooped pants is to walk out of the room slowly. if you want to fast the little terd will fall out and you would be even more embarassed.
