Charles, "Huma Rojo (2)" is simply gorgeous. So elegant in its pacing. So well-modulated. A wonderful poem. I am jealous of No Tell for getting it.
I absolutely love that you put lonesomeness in a poem. It just makes me want to cry a little bit. And then maybe I'll steal the word and make it evil.xox
Charles, so you know I really love those poems, and for what it's worth'drinking the tire smokefor the rip it carves in your throat'are my favorite lines there. They're so dissonant, both aurally and cognitivly (if only I could spell). I'm going to be passing these around.
I have to echo C.Dale, "Huma Rojo (2) is gorgeous. Good on ya, Charlie. :-)
